Resignation and discharge
Paul David Copley, who is presently a concurrent administrator of Phones 4U Limited (P4U), was appointed to assume responsibility for the conduct of certain competition law-related investigations and litigation commenced by P4U. As that litigation has now been conclusively resolved, Mr Copley’s role as concurrent administrator of P4U has naturally come to an end.
Accordingly, Mr Copley made an application to Court on 30 January 2026 seeking permission to resign from his position as concurrent administrator of P4U. As part of that application, Mr. Copley has requested the Court to fix the timing of his discharge of liability to take effect 28 days after delivery of his notice of resignation to the registrar of companies and the continuing joint administrators of P4U.
